having trouble starting nGenius 1.4

I am trying to install RTM 1.4 on a dedicated Win2K SP2. During the install, an error message occurs "cannot create secured user". Nonetheless, a user ngenius is created. But the nGenius service cannot start due to a "logon failure - invalid logon type for a user" according to Windows event viewer. Yet, I can login with the ngenius user OK.

Has anybody run across this problem?
