Help - cluster member down

Just installed two new 3548 XL switches onto network as part of existing cluster with a 3524 and two 3548 at weekend but one is showing as switch down - people connected through it are working fine but how do I get it 'UP' again?

TIA

Re: Help - cluster member down

Mark,

Are you able to connect to that particular switch with a browser directly? I also have a switch that does not want to paly along but I can still manage it seperately.

Yes, can connect fine and users appear to be unaffected but when I do 'show cluster members' from other switch or use CMS it says 'state down' ????

If you have multiple Vlans setup, verify which VLAN

you have your managemnet set at.
