Help! Loading supersized IOS to flash

I have a 2600 router, and I was running 12.2(15)T17. Today, I just tried 12.3(24), and found it did not support OSPFv3, so I want to go back to 12.2(15)T17. But I cannot copy the image into flash.

When I originally installed 12.2(15)T17, I had to use a special technique that I adapted from a 1700 series document I had read. Normally, there is not enough space in flash to install the image. But if you erase the flash first with a special hidden option, you can. What the option does is to sacrifice the squeeze space, leaving just enough space for the image. It is something like /nosqueezespace, but it doesn't appear in the command help.

Can anyone remember what the option is? I feel especially foolish because I even remember posting something about it a couple of years back, but I cannot find it.
