Help retreaving a serial number off of a remote 2600

Hello everyone,

Quick question is there a way to get serial from the command line.

'sh snmp' would show the chassi-id serial# provided that you have first entered it using the snmp-server chassis-id command in the router config. If you have not entered the serial# using the above command, 'sh snmp' may still show you the number, but it will not be the correct one. 'sh ver' will not give you the serial# on the router running IOS.
