Help updating 2500, getting pinged to dos

We have an old 2500(68030) running v11.0(10c) software, we are getting attacks daily with ICMP to the point of denial of service. We have been told updating the router may enable us to prevent some of the issues, but have been unable to find update files. Any help would be greatly appreciated! robert@rakbiz.com

def. upgrade your IOS and just put an access list on there immediately to deny incoming icmp traffic!
