Hide configuration command.

Dear all,

Is there any commands that I can perform to prevent others from looking at my configuration when they do a "show run" except myself?

Please kindly advise.

Warmest regards,

KY

you could use the privilege level for different users. you can have the highest privilege level. and the set the others to different prvilege level...

Check this link for privilege level configuration

Re: Hide configuration command.

Hi,

Let's say I do not want anyone to view my configuration when someone do a "show run" and I do not wish to set any exec priviledge. Is that any way to do it?

Please kindly advise me.

Warmest regards,

KY,

Or you don't give others enable password, so they can stay on user mode. At user mode, you can't view show run.
