Hot-key combination.

I am working on a Catalyst 5000 and my question may seem strange. I want to use a '?' as part of a text string without help appearing. I am told there is a command such as, CTRL+B, which tells the switch to treat the question mark as normal text - and not to display help information.

Does anyone know this hot-key combination?
