Hello,

I have a cat4003, with SupVis1(WS-X4012). With sh log, there is a message 'NOTE: Use "show crashdump 1" to see the crashdump.' At begin of this file is I can see:

'Version and date:

Old crashdump format or invalid Version and Date '

(IOS 6.3.(7))

Question:

How can I delete this file to find out, if SupVis is really defective ?

Thanks and regards

Ruedi

Crashdumps are written in flash, that is: they are on the 6500 series.

If this is also true for the 4000 series you can delete the files through the standard tftp file management commands:

delete (file)

squeeze (partition)

Leo

It is not this way in 4003
