How can I filter 802.3 frame on Catalyst 3550 EMI ? The documentation says
filtering is possible only for Ethernet II or SNAP
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/lan/c3550/12111ea1/3550scg/swacl.htm#xtocid25
But I'd discovered that IPX, STP and some other protocols uses 802.3.

Yes IPX can use 802.3, but it can also use 802.2 and Ethertype_II. Netware 3.11 and lower defaults (but you can change this) to 802.3 and Netware 3.12 - 4.x defaults to 802.2. Netware 5 and up defaults to IP. If you MUST use IPX, then you should change your frame type to 802.2. If your not sure what frame type your novell servers are running, issue the "config" command from the server console. I've never heard of any problems with STP when filtering 802.3, as STP won't traverse a router, you should be ok there too. Are you trying to filter 802.3 on individual switch ports?

The Netware servers not belong to my company, but uses common Ethernet
network, so I can't do anything to configure them. All I can do is to filter IPX
frames. But 3550 can't...

maybe you can set up access lists to filter ipx for all except the servers...
