How can I keep ISDN BRI:0 up all the time?

Hi guys and gals,

I am new to ISDN configurations. Any help

will be appreciated. I recently tried

configuring a Cisco 804 IOS - 12.2-8_T5

I suggested setting keepalives but that didn't

seem to fix it. I don't have the

"running-config" here but I could post it

tomorrow if needed. Is there a way, in case

I lost power, for the router to come up and go

right online, even without packets?

Thank you,

Bruce Davis, CCNA since 2003

You could always consider a routing protocol that will keep link up and kick in after a power off - assuming that this router is part of a private network.
