I've gone through all the documentation, and I can't get any traffic info from my routers using netscout? It doesn't look like it should be that hard, but I can't figure it out. I have 3640's, 2610's, and 7200's. Can someone please help me? Thanks in advance.

When you say 'netscout', are you referring to NetScout Probes OR nGenius RTM?

nGenius RTM. I got it with the ciscoworks RWAN package.

RTM is for Switches/NAM and Probes since routers only support Alarms and Events from the RMON group. You can't add a router directly into RTM. You must use a probe/NAM with the router in order to get data off the routers in RTM. See the RTM user guide for details.

Some IOS routers (e.g. 2500) supports RMON. That's the only data RTM can use. If you want to monitor traffic on a interface on a router that doesn't support RMON you'll need a dedicated probe.
