How do I reset the config register to factory default settings on a 3810?

I have a 3810 for which I have entered an incorrect value in the config register. Now the 3810 wont boot. IS there a way through jumpers to reset the config register to factory default settings?

Re: How do I reset the config register to factory default settin

Put an hyperterm on console, and power cycle the router.

Hit control break till you get to rommon.

change the config register setting back to 0x2102 " confreg 0x2102"

If you can see anything from the hyperterm or you get garbage, try all speed

setting on the hyperterm till you get an readable output.

The incorrectvalue may have altered the speed setting for the console.
