I've enabled traps, they are forwarding properly to the NMS. I simulated a loop, but don't see any messages related to it.

Are you sending these traps to DFM in CW2K?

Hello,
It's possible for you to see the spanning tree loop in an interface by doing :
Topology services
VTP Domain
Choose one of your vlan, right clic --> Display view
and then : clic on VLAN-->Spanning tree and you can see the STP config
