How Do I ?

I will try to make it short.. I have a building that is multifloor, but all cable pulls come to 1 closet. Here I have about (24) 2924's. What I am trying to do is figure out where each port on the 2924's go to. They just about all go to a workstation, so it would be nice is I could run something and it would give me the Mac address of end station or Net Bios Name or even IP. Can someone point me into the proper direction on how to figure this out...

Thanks...

Re: How Do I ?

Hello,

I think the right tool for you is User Tracking of Campus Manager, web-based network management tools that provide graphical views of network topology and end-user information.

For more info look at http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/wr2k/cpmn/prodlit/index.shtml.

Ask a trial version of LMS to your Cisco reseller.

Andrea.
