How do you determine at what modem speed a user is at.

I have an AS5400 I am trying to determine at what speed they are getting connected. What command provides this? The problem we are having is a user is able to connect fine from one location then when they take their laptop home it doesn't work. Any ideas?

"show spe modem active x" will give the connect speeds, based on port number for the corresponding username.

If the user connects from one location & the same laptop does not connect from another location then most likely the POTS line at the user end is causing problems .
