How many E1s possible on 2610

I have a 2610 router with a NM-1E2W.

How many E1 can I connect in total using the two

WIC ports and the one AIM?

Thanks

Florian

Re: How many E1s possible on 2610

are you sure you have a working NM-1E2W module installed in a 2610? ref. http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/pcat/mxne__p1.htm

However, 2610 comes with an ethernet interface, two VIC slots and a NM slot. So you can use the below config which packs 8 E1 ports (v.35 sinalling rather than PRI). You might have throughput problems if all the ports reach close to 100% utilization, suggest adding more memory as well.

CISCO2610 Ethernet Modular Router w/ Cisco IOS IP Software 1

CAB-AC Power Cord,110V 1

S26C-12205 Cisco 2600 Series IOS IP 1

NM-2W 2 WAN Card Slot Network Module(no LAN) 1

WIC-2T 2-Port Serial WAN Interface Card 2

WIC-2T 2-Port Serial WAN Interface Card 2

AIM-COMPR2 8 Mbps Compression Adv. Integration Module for Cisco 2600 1

you may download the Cisco configmaker, it covers the config details up to 3600. it's downloadable from cisco web.
