How many IP addresses can I safely configure on my e0/0 interface? The configuration is below is an example of what I am using. This is configured on a router with a 56k cir.
Additionally, the router is configured to not forward udp netbios. (see below)
What kinds of problems can I expect to see?
interface Ethernet0/0
ip address 192.168.207.254 255.255.255.0
ip helper-address 192.168.101.x
ip helper-address 192.168.1.x
ip helper-address 192.168.11.x
no ip directed-broadcast
no cdp enable
bridge-group 7
bridge-group 7 input-address-list 7
no ip forward-protocol udp netbios-ns
no ip forward-protocol udp netbios-dgm

You can configure more than one ip helper-address like what you have done, without harm. I guess you are using directed broadcasts for that subnet. as the ip helper-addresses. You will see that the router will send the broadcasts to each of the above helper-addresses. In this case, it will send 3 packets for every broadcasts received.

Thanks for your response. If it sends 3 broadcast packets for each one it receives then this will probably affect the 56k circuit consuming bandwitdh with broadcast, right?

Yep...it would...What is the purpose of using 3 IP helpers ??
