How many priority queues are there on the Catalyst 3524 Ethernet ports?

How many priority queues exist on the GE ports of the 3524 switch? How many are active and can be used for traffic prioritization?

Re: How many priority queues are there on the Catalyst 3524 Ethe

The 3500XL switches do not support configuration of a queueing method.

The 3500XL only supports 2 queues starting in XU software. The queues comprise of high queue (CoS values 4-7) and low queue (CoS values 0-3), which are serviced by strict priority scheduling. This means all traffic in the high priority queue first, then the low priority traffic will be serviced.
