i configured a static route to cross Frame Relay network. i found that if an error occur in Frame Realy network, the serial port and line protocol keep "up", but in fact, i cann't ping through the frame relay network. becuase the port and line protocol keep "up", so the static route is always in the routing table.
can i find a way to dismiss the route from routing table when router cann't ping the next-hop address?
How static route do Keepalive?

Hi,
AFAIK, there is no way of static route doing keepalive (if there were, I'd appreciate it).
You need a dynamic routing protocol.

Cisco devices can't do ping-based routing currently but take a look at Frame Relay End-to-End Keepalives: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/iosswrel/ps1830/products_feature_guide09186a0080087a58.html
