How To Change Spanning Tree Parameters on 3508?

Anyone have links to Spanningtree commands for a 3508 switch?

The commands used on the 2948, 4000 & 5000 series don't work on the 3508!

(i.e. "set spantree backbonefast enable" , etc. doesn't work)

The 3508 switches runs IOS instead of CatOS.

So you're saying that STP params CAN'T be changed on the 3508??

Richard meant to say the XLs run IOS and do not support "set" commands. The commands are different and you can find them on CCO at

Also XLs do not support backbone fast feature
