How to check both username and Calling ID

Hello,

I need to check the incoming ISDN call for both the username and the Calling number.

For example: I need that my dialing user could connect to my Cisco 2600 (or an AS5200) only if:

the username/password is correct

AND

the Calling ID is a known telephone number

Could anyone tell me if is it possibile?

Thank you in advance

Paolo

Re: How to check both username and Calling ID

If you have no outgoing connections, try this:

- if using legacy DDR: apply "isdn caller exact" on the physical interface for each number allowed to dial in, and apply the authentication of your choice

- if using dialer profiles: apply 'dialer caller exact" on the dialer interface for each number allowed to dial in, and apply the authentication of your choice

Make sure you have no default dialer that other callers migth get bound to.

Try it and let us know if it works?

regards

Herbert
