How to config SPAN port on 6509 running native IOS (12.1)

I need to configure a SPAN port on a 6509 running native IOS. I know how to do this under Catalyst code, and have found documentation on doing so under IOS on a 35xx switch but cant seem to find info on how to do it on a 6509 running IOS. Any suggestions?

You need the "monitor session" command. See
