how to configure a Mgnt ip on cat4232?

hello,

i have a switch running catos4232(modular No.WS4232 L3),now i only enter into the mode of L3Switch4232(config)# using a ip address,i want to configure a Mgnt IP address on switch now so that i can enter into this mode console>(enable),how do i configure it?

it seems that "set int sc0 "just is used in the mode of console>(enable)

but now i can only enter into the mode of L3Switch4232(config)#

when i entered the command like this L3Switch4232(config)#set int sc0 105 192.168.5.5 255.255.255.0

% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

i think the set command shoud be only used in the mode of console>(enable)

Hi Minquan,

I don't think thats possible from management interface of 4232 L3 blade.

To access the sup engine prompt can you try to console into the switch from the console port on supervisor engine and assign an ip address.
