How to Configure an EtherSwitch Module

I am installing a new NMD-36-ESW in a 3745. I can't find much documentation on how to configure this module. All I want to do is make all the Ethernet ports part of the same LAN segment. When I look at the config it looks like 36 different ethernet segements. Does anyone have a sample config or a link to documentation on this? Thanks.

Re: How to Configure an EtherSwitch Module

Doc that lists most of the commands you need is found at URL: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/iosswrel/ps5207/products_feature_guide09186a00801d2d60.html#1242934

Also has a few examples.

If you just want to put all users in one vlan, say vlan 2, just do the following

a) Create the vlan

router#vlan database

router(vlan)# vlan 2

b) Add a etherswitch port to the vlan

router(config)# int fa1/6

router(config-if)# switchport access vlan 2

c) If you want to route traffic from vlan 2 to another network, create a SVI interface

router(config)#interface vlan 2

router(config-if)# ip address 2.2.2.2 255.255.255.0

Hope this helps.
