How to disable SNMP on a single port on a 6500

SNMP is configured on a 6500 to send traps for bridge, repeater, module and chassis. I want SNMP to send link up down traps only for specific ports not the entire switch. Is there a way to disable SNMP on a specific port or module?

You can use the command 'set port trap mod/port {enable | disable}' to enable/disable linnkup/down traps on a per port basis/specific ports. The default configuration has all port traps disabled. See 'How Do I Enable Traps on Individual Ports Such As linkUp/Down?' at:
