How to disable SNMP on Catalyst 6500 IOS 6.1(1d)

I want to disable SNMP on my 6500 switch. The command reference says to use the 'set snmp disable' command, but if fails. I pasted the error output below. I've went through all the set snmp ? commands possible, but can't find a way to just turn it off. Anyone know how to fix this?

6500_SWITCH (enable) set snmp disable

Unknown command "set snmp disable". Use 'set snmp help' for more info

Where do you see this in the command reference. Please point to a URL.

SNMP can effectively be disabled by setting all the SNMP community strings to an empty string. For example:

Console> (enable) set snmp community read-write

SNMP read-write community string cleared.

Console> (enable)

Thanks for the info. I blanked out the SNMP community strings and it seems to have shut it down. It still responses on that port during a port scan, but returns no data. I'll port up the link to the command refernce I was refering to as soon as I can find it.
