How to explain different Apps Layer Graph seems on same VLAN on two NAM?

Hi,

I have two NAM installed on 2 Cat6K Core Switch. With nGenius, I saw that the Application Layer Data for the two NAM for the Same VLAN over the same period is different, for example, VLANx on NAM1 will display Application Layer Data, at the same time VLANy on NAM1 does not have data. On NAM2, VLANx does not have data but VLANy does have data.

Can anybody help to explain this?

It may depend on the SPAN source, settings in RTM etc. You can verify this by using the NAM's webbased Traffic Analyzer on both NAMs to see if you get the same results or else.

The SPAN source on both core switch are identical, the settings on RTM are identical. The Data on NAM Webbased under "Monitor" -> "Overview" or "Monitor" -> "VLAN" are quit difference.

BTW, the MSFC on the main core switch (CS1) is configured to be the HSRP active router and the other core switch (CS2) is HSRP standby host.
