What is the best and cheepest way to do a traffic analysis over a Serial Point-to-Point link on a 3661 ver 12.0, router's WAN interface over a period of 24 hours?

ip accounting would do fine. But it does consume cpu resources. Check show process cpu before and after enabling ip accounting.
