How to get more than 10Mbps with 1711 router?

I have been testing throughput on our 1711, and it seems locked at 10Mb/sec. This is for transfers from the WAN side on F0 to a client on the VLAN1 side on F1. I tried setting the "speed" setting for both interfaces to 100Mbps, but that did nothing. Please advise. Thanks!

How are you testing the bandwidth? If you haven't already, try a program such as TTCP that is meant to test network bandwidth.

You may simply be at the router's limits depending on your configuration. Is CEF enabled? What if any performance-reducing features (such as ACLs, NAT, policy routing, and so forth) are enabled?

(Inter-Vlan)Routing between the wic-4esw and the fixed fa0 is limited to 10MB/s.
