Level 1

I have a preconfigured (ip ethernet adres 192.168.0.1 and subnet mask

255.255.255.0)cisco 826 adsl-router.

I have put the cables in the right plugs: yellow to the hub , lavender to

the adsl-splitter and the power supply cable to the 8-pin connector.

The ok-led is on, the adsl cd-led is on and the ethernet 1-led is on.

What do I have to do next to make a connection to the internet, just starting my

browser ?? Or what??

Can you help me please!

Often times setup and configuration issues are best addressed in an interactive session with one of our trained technical assistance engineers. While other forum users may be able to help, it’s often difficult to do so for this type of issue.

To utilize the resources at our Technical Assistance Center, please visit http://www.cisco.com/tac and to open a case with one of our TAC engineers, visit http://www.cisco.com/tac/caseopen

If anyone else in the forum has some advice, please reply to this thread.
