How to limit the bandwidth without Frame Relay?

Hi,

My core router is Cisco 7500 series to which two distribution routers of 3600 series are connected. All of my customers are having Serial connections to 3600 routers. I want to limit their bandwidth without showing any degradation in performance like through RATE LIMIT option. Except Frame Relay, i have heard about WRED but it's not supported on 3600 series. Any other reliable ideas....?

Hi,

Try GTS on your serial interface, 3600 does support WRED.
