I have two links connected to two different ISPs. How to load balance.

The senorio is like below

LAN Switch 1 ----R1-------- ISP1

LAN Switch 1 ----R2----------ISP2

ISP1 has given me a class C public IPs

ISP2 has given me a class C public IPs

The systems with ip addresses from ISP1 are having gateway as R1 router.

The systems with ip addresses from ISP2 are having gateway as R2 router.

So when ISP1 link is down the system with ISP1 ip addresses are not able to use ISP2 link.

My requirement is.

I want to load balance between thease two links and when ISP1 link fails ISP2 should take over and vice versa.

Please provide me a better solutions.

Your should use a registered address

from your company (e.g. buy a class C

which will be used to connect to both ISP's.

In the current case you cannot route subnet1 from ISP1

through ISP2 network and viceversa.

Using your own class C you will dynamically

announce it to both providers. If one link goes down

you will use the other connection.

You should use also a dynamic routing protocol

with both providers.
