How to make Network to go on backup link running NAT Automatically

I have a Cisco 3640 Router. When my main link goes down,I shift it to backup link with NAT running. Now I want it to be done automatically.Deafault route is changed automatically with greater administrative distance but how do I configure the interface command."IP NAT INSIDE & IP NAT OUTSIDE" to implement conditionally. And when my main link restores it comes back to normal. Is there any solution ?

Re: How to make Network to go on backup link running NAT Automat

In order for NAT to work, there must be an IP NAT INSIDE and OUTSIDE that the packet traverses.

If the primary interface does not have IP NAT OUTSIDE, but the backup interface does, you should be fine.

Note: when your main comes back online, your existing connections going over your backup will be lost.
