How to prevent ISDN to call after successful call

Hi, How to prevent ISDN to call during specific interval after successful call in layer 2 but not successful in PPP layer. Imagine situation when branch router using DDR is trying to connect fo RAS but authorization in PPP failed because TACACS+ server dosn't work or connection between RAS and TACACS+ is lost. Connection (for 1 second) in ISDN layer 2 was established but authorization failed . If any data is send from branch to central site branch router continuously activate ISDN call and disconnect after 1 second (due to failed PPP authorization). How to save money and put some interval for example 30 second between ISDN connection attemps. This will safe money because router will perform only 2 calls for 1 minute not 60 !!!!

Is it possible on Cisco routers ?

Thanks for any suggentions !!!!

PS: I tried dialer redial command but it works only for failed ISDN calls !!! I'm looking the same command but for failed calls due to PPP authorization !!!

Re: How to prevent ISDN to call after successful call

There is no exact way to wait for some time if PPP fails before initiating the next call.

BUT you can use something similar like "dialer enable timeout xx" where xx is in secs, to set the length of time an interface stays down after a call has completed or failed and before it is available to dial again. Pl. visit following url for more on that.
