How to reset routing protocol's database after changes to redistribution?

I'm looking for something similar to "clear ip ospf redistribution" for EIGRP and BGP.

Assuming I have route maps and prefix lists for redistributing into EIGRP or BGP. If I changed the route maps or prefix lists, how to reinitiate the redistribution process for EIGRP or BGP without having to reset the peering sessions? The goal is to get newer redistribution into EIGRP database or BGP table without affecting anything else.

Thanks a lot

Gary

HI

You can you use

clear ip route *

hope this could help

For BGP, you can use the following:

clear ip bgp soft [in|out]

That will result in a soft refresh which will not take down the BGP sessions.

Hope that helps - pls rate the post if it does.
