Re: How to set snmp trap ?

Hello,

with snmp-server host 10.1.1.1 trap snmp command you configure the router to send only the snmp trap to the host 10.1.1.1.

Re: How to set snmp trap ?

I has seen : http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/477/SNMP/snmp_traps.html.

I only want to send a inform when the link up or down.

I set : snmp-server host 10.1.1.1 informs ver 2c public snmp

snmp-server enble informs(when i set .this line can not see in running-config)

But when the link up , no packet is sent!
