How to setup mail on UNIX for CW2K

Hi,

We have CW2k installed on a UNIX machine. Can someone tell me how to configure mail on the UNIX machine so send it all towards and exchange server.

Resource Manager Essentials > Administration > System Configuration > SMTP

Enter your exchange servername here.

RME will then send all emails via that server.

Sorry but that option is not available if you install it under UNIX.

you will need to configure a mail client aswell...

what OS ..if solaris 2.6-9 ...do the following

1.add the ip add/hostname of your exchange server to /etc/hosts

2. vi /etc/mail/sendmail.cf

look for the line "Smart relay host"

next line down after DS type hostname of exchange server

i.e DSmailbox1.clive.com

save file

3. kill sendmail ...PS for it

4 start again

/usr/lib/sendmail -bd -q15m

you mail will now be forwarded
