Hi all,
when use "show version" command, there is a sentence that can see the memory in the router, for example:
cisco 7206 (NPE150) processor with 57344K/8192K bytes of memory.
what's the meaning of the 2 numbers? and the total memory of the router is 57344K or 57344+8192K of the router? Thank You!
Best Regards

The amount of memory in the router is the total of the two numbers. The first number is the amount of memory allocated to the processor (i.e., the system), the second number represents IO memory (packet buffers, etc).
