HSRP Both routers should have same WAN links ?

I am planning a HSRP solution, routerA is active with

5E1 connectivitis for 5 sites and 1 ISDN PRI ,

routerB is standy, so should routerB has same 5E1 connectivitis for 5 sites and 1 ISDN PRI? or just

1 WAN PORT

the WAN LINK is frame-relay.

any suggesion ,thank you

For HSRP to work, you need to have two pathes to the same destinatin. If all 5 frame circuits come into one router, there is only one path to the 5 remote routers. Unless some of the remote routers are partcially messed I am unsure how you would use HSRP on the WAN interface. To have full redundancy, you would need 5 frame circuits in each router with 2 frame circuits at each remote location, one to each router.

Another solution is to bring in a larger circuit to your Central Campus and have the Telco split that circuit into smaller locations at the branch office. Use traffic-shaping commands on the individual VC's to dedicate the BW.
