HSRP on MSFC2

I have more then 16 Vlans on the swith with HSRP enabled. These vlans have their own HSRP group numbers.

"The Policy Feature Card 2 (PFC2) /MSFC2 supports a maximum of 16 unique HSRP groups. You can reuse the same HSRP group numbers in different VLANs if more than 16 HSRP groups are needed."

My question are.

What happen if more then one or two vlan use same HSRP group?

Can I use one HSRP number for all the vlan or what is the max. nubmer can you have on one HSRP group?

What happen if HSRP group numbers are use for 17th through ~ on MSFC2 Card ?

Re: HSRP on MSFC2

There is a software check in the latest software which prevents configuring more than 16 hsrp groups. Configuring more than 16 groups is an unsupported configuration and hence it should be corrected.

Yes you can use the same hSRP group for all vlans. no restrictions as far as i know.
