HSRP on prim&sec IP

Do i have to expect trouble running hsrp on the primary and on the secondary ip interface in the same vlan interface.

something like

vlan 5

ip address 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.0

ip address 20.1.1.1 255.255.255.0 sec

standby 1 ip 10.1.1.10

standby 2 ip 20.1.1.10

If all your switches you'll be doing this on are Cisco then you should be fine. On other vendor (Common CAM/Mac table type) this might be an issue. The HSRP MAC differs by group. So, if you were to use the same group in another VLAN other switches might have an issue with this since some don't saparate CAM tables (MAC must be unique on whole box rather than within VLAN).
