HSRP or VRRP

Hello Gurus,

i have two Router:

Router A with 2 WAN (10/100) and 1 LAN(10/100)

Router A with 2 WAN (10/100) and 1 LAN(10/100)

one WAN must be Activ and one Passiv

how cann i configure Hrsp or Vrrp to switch back to th Activ link ** Only if this link is after a couple of time stablil** example 5 min.

the proble ist : we have this works but on layer 2 level and the most time it switch back on the active and because this interface is flapping the switchover get more and more

I believe with HSRP you can adjust the timers.

standby timers

If you were to adjust the timers to have a high hold time, it should wait that long until it switches back to that link, assuming you have preempt on. I believe the max value is 255 seconds, which isn't quite 5 minutes, but close...
