HSRP with 1751

I have a 1751 that is being used to terminate about 30 GRE tunnels. I am looking into adding a second 1751 for redundancy using HSRP. Will this work for GRE tunnels? Any particular feature set and/or IOS version that I need for this?

You cann't use HSRP IP address as Tunnel source IP address for GRE because it is an Virtual IP address. So, in your situation it's not possible. If you go for IPSec, then it's possible. Please go through this link for more information how to configure.

I was not aware of that. Do I have any other options? The router is behind a PIX and I use NAT to translate from an outside address. Is there anything that I can do with that?
