HTML files in the Catalyst 3548

I need to upgrade the IOS on about 120 Cat3548 switches.

With the current IOS and HTML files I don't have enough room left for a new IOS image.

If I don't use the HTTP service on the switches can I remove the HTML directory?

This will give me enough room the have both IOS images on the switch at the same time.

Once the switch is successfully running with the new IOS I can remove the old IOS image.

Re: HTML files in the Catalyst 3548

Hi Scott

In order to upgrade your Cat3548 switches, you should delete the html folder in the flash memory, but first you must turn off http server on the switch. This option requires an new IOS image with CMS files. Here is a link to manuals how to upgrade your switches. I think you'I find all the answers there.
