I am getting ignored packets on a 2900XL interfaces, What does it means?

FastEthernet0/3 is up, line protocol is up

Hardware is Fast Ethernet, address is 0003.6bf8.4d03 (bia 0003.6bf8.4d03)

Ignored packets are those that are discarded because the interface hardware does not have enough internal buffers
