I have problem with EssentialDbEngine

The EssentialDbEngine appers to be running but isn´t it.

When I try to run the Syslog Collector status, a message is displayed

Error in accessing server's database.

What can I do?

Try stopping and then re-starting the process and see if it works.

Thank you for the answer , but I had already tried doing that.

The Essentialdbengine doesn't work even with re-starting the process

I'm installing the Cd-One 3rd edition, and the RME 3.2 in a Pentium 4 PC with WIN2000 Server and I had tried with Win NT 4 too.

I run CW on a Solaris 8 platform. When that happens to me, I have had to re-initalize the database- You lose everything and have to rediscover. Not sure of the procedure on a windows machine. I've had to do it several times- at the direction of TAC. It's not much fun.
