I NEED HELP, any sugest would be really apreciated
I have a small lan in my house and I have 2 broad band internet conections with a cisco 677 modem, each cisco modem y attached to a 4 port hub, but now i want to change the 2 hubs for a 16 ports switch, so my question is
COULD I CONECT THE 2 MODEMS IN A SWITCH WITHOUT TROUBLE, AND IF THERE ANY TROUBLE COULD YOU HELP ME OUT?
Re: I NEED HELP, any sugest would be really apreciated
Just make sure that you'll get a managable switch. That is something that you can console or telnet to the switch to create VLANs. By the sound of things, I recommend that you'll make 2 VLANs to connect your modems to.
