I need to test periodically my isdn conn on several remote routers because isdn is configurated for backing up leased lines.

I tried with a batch script, but after the execution of the ping command the router doesn't accept the exit command and return control to the script.

Make sure the script delay's entering

"exit", until the ping has completed.

By default a ping will send 5 packets

with a 2 second timeout, which means

that if every ping fails the ping

process will still take 10 seconds to

complete.
