I find some sentence on cisco web site.
the sentence and link are showing below.
"If you perform a hot swap, the console displays the message "Module n has been inserted." This message also appears if you are connected to the Catalyst 4500 series switch through a Telnet session"
if this mean that 4500 module can support online insert and removal(OIR) ?

Hi Friend,
Yes Cat4500 series switch support online insertial and removal of modules/linecards as they are hotswappable.

yes, it means the line cards can be removed or inserted without powering down the system..... hot swappable or OIR.
