If anyone successfully configured ISDN simulator using vic-2bri-s/t card

Hi,

Does anyone has successfully configured the ISDN simulator on Cisco 2600/3600 series router using the VIC-2BRI-S/T card? I have referenced couple of configurations on the news group and a web site, but I never make it fully works. It seems that only one sample configuration exist on the web in a different version, but all of them have some errors.

Please clarify...are you looking to have the 2600/3600 emulate an ISDN switch?

I am looking for how to make the ISDN switch works by using the card I mentioned: VIC-2BRI-S/T. I have the card and have the ISDN cross-over cable connects to two routers with ISDN S/T interface. I can see the layer two have established on both routers, but can not get layer three connected. It boncing all the times.

Hi,

First you consider your builtin bri interface and and then go for aditional modules.

if you able to configure the builtin interface then copy the bri configuraion to the module.

and also mentioned the problem you are facing when configuring vic 2bri interface.
